LANCASTER, Pa. - Coming off a strong performance in the final match of the regular season, Dickinson men's soccer junior defender Nicolas Fonseca has been selected as the Centennial Conference Defensive Player of the Week the league office announced on Tuesday.

Fonseca, the native of Mexico City, Mexico, played a key role in the Red Devils 3-1 win over Muhlenberg on Saturday that locked up the No. 2 seed in the Centennial Conference Tournament. The junior won numerous aerial duals and helped to prevent multiple crosses as the Dickinson defense limited the Mules to three shots on target. 

Fonseca and the rest of the Red Devils return to action on Friday night at 7pm when they begin their quest to repeat as the Centennial Conference champions with a semifinal matchup against an opponent to be determined at Miller Memorial Field.
