LANCASTER, Pa. - Coming off of fantastic senior campaigns Dickinson women's basketball players
Mia Chapman and
Victoria Zerbe were recognized by the league for their efforts on the floor on Wednesday morning as both were named Second Team All-Centennial Conference.
Chapman earned her spot after leading the Red and White in scoring with 11.7 points per game on 45% shooting from the floor to go along with 5.9 rebounds and 1.4 assists. She reached double-digits 16 times on the season, including breaking the 20 point mark against nationally-recognized Shenandoah when she dropped 23 points and pulled down eight boards during a season-high 36 minutes played. The native of Vienna, Virginia also collected a double-double on the road versus the University of Mary Washington as she netted 17 points in addition to claiming 10 rebounds.Â
Zerbe grabbed her recognition following a year where she paced the team in rebounds per game at 7.6, while adding 10.0 points, 2.3 assists, 1.5 steals and 1.0 blocks. The resident of York, Pennsylvania, had 13 games where she eclipsed 10 points, including one game with 20-plus scoring 22 against Gettysburg on February 11th. In a two game stretch versus Franklin & Marshall (1/24) and Johns Hopkins (1/28) she posted consecutive double-doubles combining for 24 points and 26 rebounds over that time.Â
