THREE PEAT! Trevor Richwine Wins 800m National Title

Akabi-During earns All-American honors in 100m

LA CROSSE, Wis. - Dickinson Track and Field runners Trevor Richwine and Franklyn Akabi-During had an exciting finish to the 2026 Division III Outdoor Track and Field National Championships on Saturday. Richwine won the National Title in the 800m yet again, and Akabi-During earned All-American honors in the 100m Finals. 
  • Senior Trevor Richwine won the 800m National Title, posting a time of 1:47.39 to set a new national meet record. The title is his third-consecutive in the 800m, winning at both the 2026 Indoor Championships (March 14, 2026- 1:48.17) and at last year's Outdoor Championships (May 24, 2025- 1:49.99). The 2026 graduate recently broke the 20-year Division III record in the 800m, running a 1:47.21 on May 11 at the Widener Final Qualifier. 
  • Franklyn Akabi-During notched a great finish in the 100m Finals, earning All-American status in the process. The sophomore finished seventh overall with a time of 10.42, just 0.01 short of his personal best set last month.
