CARLISLE, Pa. - Nicolas Fonseca notched a 62nd-minute goal to help the Dickinson men's soccer team overcome an early 1-0 deficit to pick up a 2-1 victory over the visiting Ursinus College at Miller Memorial Field in the Centennial Conference opener for both sides.

First Half

• Dickinson had the open chance of the match, but the attempt from Josh Dozier sailed over the top of the net.
• Ursinus would take advantage of their first shot as Matthew McFadden struck off a free kick in the seventh.
• The Red and White went in search of a response, unfortunately the attempts from Darian Crim, Nicholas Dwamena, Timi Omoniwa and Dozier did not test the keeper.
• After an offering by Ryan O'Neill missed over the head of DC keeper Gavin Marr, the Devils did indeed find an equalizer just before halftime as a cross landed in the box at the feet of Omoniwa who forced it over to Charlie Roy for the goal with 30-seconds left.

Second Half

• Each side recorded a shot in the opening five minutes with Roy missing for the Red and White, while Noah Huber went off target as well.
• Dickinson tallied attempts from Roan Harrington, Patrick McCune and Jeremy Sallade resulting in one stop for Josiah Moore as the match entered the final half hour.
• Fonseca put the Devils ahead for good ultimately with 61:41 gone as Sallade launched a throw-in into the box that Fonseca was able to scramble across the goal line for the 2-1 lead.
• Moore continued to be put under pressure denying Crim (4) and Omoniwa, while at the other end Marr shutdown Sean McFadden to send the match to the final ten minutes.
• The home side was lockdown defensively the rest of the time not allowing another shot to the Bears until one second was left as Moore let one fly from the center line that was far too high to cause Marr any issues.
