Holly Martin returns to the Red Devil field hockey staff for her second season in 2017, following an outstanding playing career at York College. Having played for head coach Carly Zinn, Martin made a great addition as the program transitioned under the direction of a new coaching staff last season.

Martin concluded her Spartan career with a solid senior year in which she tallied 10 points on three goals and four assists. Martin finished her career with 44 points on 16 goals and 12 assists in her 70 career matches. She reached double figures in each of her four seasons as a Spartan.

The Spartans reached the conference playoffs three times during Martin’s career, advancing to the semifinals in 2014 and 2015.

Martin was a first-team All-Capital Athletic Conference selection in 2015 after making a transition from attack to the midfield. She continued to produce on the offensive end of the field while also proving to be one of the Spartans’ top defenders. Martin was a four-time selection to the SGI/NFHCA Division III National Academic Squad, a member of the Dean’s list and is pursuing a career in nursing.
