Chad Hoffman (Bloomsburg '17) begins his first season with the Red Devil football program and will coach the wide receiving corps. He spent a year as an assistant coach at Bloomsburg University, following four seasons with the Huskies, including the final three years as a wide receiver.

In addition to coaching, Hoffman served as an Athletic Operations Intern at Bloomsburg in the spring of 2017. He also worked with Vaportrail 24/7 Speed Training where he developed skill training programs, designed specifically for quarterbacks and wide receivers.

Hoffman played at Bloomsburg from 2013 to 2016 and finished his career with 99 catches for 1,236 yards and four touchdowns. After appearing in only three games as a reserve quarterback in 2013, Hoffman switched to wide receiver and averaged 33 catches for 412 yards over his final three seasons in a run-oriented offense.

He ranked second on the team in catches (28) and yards (354) in his first year as a wideout in 2014 and then led the team in receptions in each of his final two seasons. He led the Huskies in receiving yards (429) in 2015 and finished second on the team with 453 yards in 2016.

Hoffman received a B.A. in communications with a minor in management from Bloomsburg in 2017. He graduated from Hazleton High School in 2012 where he was a three-year starter at quarterback and a First Team All-Conference selection as a senior.
