Jorge Chapoy (East Stroudsburg University '03) enters into his fifth season, after joining the Red Devils staff in the fall of 2020. Before joining the Red Devils, he  had a six-season stint as the assistant coach of division one program Lafayette College. Prior to joining the staff at Lafayette, he spent two years at his alma mater, East Stroudsburg University, where he was closely involved in all aspects of the program.
 
During his playing days at ESU, he was a stand-out player, scoring 73 goals and handing out 36 assists during his career. He graduated from Pecquea Valley High School, coming as an international student from Monclova, Mexico. He went on to become a First-team All-American in 2003 and was the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Player of the Year that same season. He received a B.S. the fall of 2003 and earned an M.S. in Sports Management in 2005.
 
Chapoy and his team are coming off the best season under his leadership in 2023, where they reached the Centennial Conference playoffs and a record of 9-7-2. Chapoy has continued his success to start the 2024 season, with a  record-breaking start, being nationally ranked for the first time since 2011 (highest ranking of number 5), and well as beating #3 Messiah for the first time in program history and being undefeated through nine matches (8-1-0).
 
He earned his National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) National Diploma in 2012 and received an Advanced National Diploma in 2013.
 
Chapoy resides in Carlisle with his wife Kimberly, daughters Lyla and Juliette and their beloved dog Rooney.
