Dickinson College

2024 - Appeared in and started 18 games for the Devils firing 26 shots (14 on target) and notching two goals as well as two helpers. She buried the match-winning goal in a 1-0 conference win at home against Muhlenberg College (9/28), before picking up her second of the campaign at Haverford College on October 5th.  

2023 - Appeared in and started 17 games for the Red and White as a rookie tallying 23 shots (16 on target) to go along with a goal and an assist. She made her collegiate debut on September 1st quite memorable as she collected her first Red Devil goal at St. Mary's College of Maryland. 

Field of Study at Dickinson: Biology and Environmental Science

High School and Club Info: Attended and played at Pittsford Mendon High School in New York where she help the Panthers to the 2021 Sectional Championship. In 2022 as a senior, she was chosen to the First Team All-County and First Team All-Greater Rochester, in addition to being named Fourth Team All-State. She also excelled in the classroom as a three-time NYSPHSAA Scholar Athlete. Was a member of two club teams playing for both FC Dynamo Roc and RNYFC. 

Family Info: Daughter of Sarah and Ted Merkel. Has two siblings, Johanna and Libby. Father played Division III soccer at the College of Wooster.
