College field hockey team dropped a 6-0 decision to #5-ranked
Ursinus College on Saturday afternoon. |
Six different players scored as the Bears struck three times in
each half. Jennifer Bayzick tallied the game-winner 4:35 into the
contest with an unassisted goal. Megan Yoder struck just 20 seconds
later and added an assist on the Bears' final goal.
Senior goaltender Amanda West (Harleysville,
Pa./North Penn)made 13 saves for the Red Devils.
The Bears held a 21-4 advantage in shots and a 7-5 edge in
corners.
The Red Devils slip to 2-5 overall and 0-1 in the Centennial
Conference. They travel to Johns Hopkins on Tuesday to face the
Blue Jays at 4:00 pm.
