Dickinson College women's lacrosse team suffered a 9-3 setback at
Ursinus College on Saturday. |
The Bears started the game with a 5-0 run and never looked back,
taking a 6-2 advantage into halftime. They outscored the Devils 3-1
in the second half for the final of 9-3.
Elizabeth Cannon led the way for Ursinus with three goals and
two assists while Allison Furman and Sarah Brant each caused four
turnovers on the day.
Senior Alyssa Crellin (Little Compton,
R.I./Portsmouth Abbey School) scored two goals
while Sunnie Ko (Springfield, Va./West
Springfield) dished out a pair of assists and
controlled three draws.
Junior goaltender Jessie Clark (Devon,
Pa./Conestoga) made 12 saves for the Devils.
Dickinson slips to 6-5 overall and 3-4 in the Centennial
Conference. They return home to host McDaniel College on Wednesday
at 4:30 pm.
