(Lancaster, Pa.) – The Dickinson College men's soccer team played to a scoreless draw at Franklin & Marshall on Sunday afternoon. Both teams had numerous scoring chances but strong defensive play and outstanding goalkeeping kept any goals from going up on the scoreboard.

The draw secures the Red Devils the #2-seed in the Centennial Conference playoffs. Johns Hopkins finished 7-1-1 on the year to secure the top seed and will host the tournament next weekend.

Junior goaltender Cody Hickok (Redding, Conn./Joel Barlow) turned in a spectacular performance, turning away 12 shots in the shutout effort.

Franklin & Marshall held a 20-11 advantage in shots and a slim 7-5 edge in corners.

Taylor Ferry (Wyndmoor, Pa./Chestnut Hill Academy) anchored a solid defensive effort to assist in the shutout.

The Red Devils will face the number three seed in the tournament next weekend in Baltimore.
