(Westminster, Md.) – The Dickinson men's soccer team played to a scoreless tie with McDaniel College on Wednesday afternoon, moving to 7-2-1 overall and 1-1-1 in the Centennial Conference.
The game went back-and-forth throughout the match with neither team able to create any quality scoring chances. The Green Terror had its best opportunities early on while the Devils had the momentum into overtime.
The hosts held the advantage in shots, 19-11, and a significant edge in corners, 10-2.
Junior Reed Milbrath (Dickerson, Md./Sandy Springs Friends) made five saves in the first half with the Red Devil defense clearing another attempt off the line, late in the first half. First-year Jeremy Palcan (Park Ridge, Ill./St. Ignatius Prep) came on for the second half and overtime, making three saves.
Zach Nibbelink made two saves for McDaniel as they stand at 6-1-3 overall and 0-1-2 in the conference.
The Red Devils travel to Haverford College on Saturday for a 2:00 pm match with the 'Fords.
