(Winchester, Va.) – The Dickinson women's soccer team improved to 4-1 on the season with a 2-0 victory at Shenandoah University on Wednesday night.
Sophomore Nicole Fronsdahl (Groton, Mass./Groton) tallied a goal and an assist on the night. She assisted senior Rosalin Savoie (Wilton, Conn./Wilton) on the game-winner in the 35th minute, and added an insurance goal, scoring in the 77th minute.
The Red Devils held a 13-10 advantage in shots and a slim, 4-3 edge in corners. Sophomore goaltender Charlotte Armour (New Haven, Conn./Choate-Rosemary Hall) made four saves to earn the shutout.
Erin Septer made seven saves in goal for Shenandoah as the Hornets slipped to 2-4 on the season.
The Red Devils improved to 3-1 on the year. They travel to Haverford College for their Centennial Conference opener on Saturday. Kick-off is set for 1:00 pm.
