KANSAS CITY - For the first time in Dickinson history a Red Devil women's soccer player has been recognized by the United Soccer Coaches organization as senior defender
Lila Brown was tabbed to the All-American Second Team the organization announced on Thursday afternoon. Brown joins Carli Boyer who was honored by D3soccer.com in 2019 as an All-American as the only All-Americans in program history.
Brown, a native of the nation's capital, earned her first All-American award after claiming her second straight All-Region selection. During the 2025 campaign, Brown started in all 21 matches for the Devils tallying five goals, while chipping in three helpers on 32 shots (16 on target). On the defensive side of the ball she was a major contributor in a Devils defense that only allowed 16 goals on the campaign and became the first member of the Red and White to claim the Centennial Conference Defensive Player of the Year award. Offensively she was also a big threat posting a goal and assist in the regular season finale at Muhlenberg, before scoring twice in the Centennial Conference Tournament first round victory over Washington (Md.) at home.
