(Middletown, Conn.) - The #17-ranked Dickinson women's squash team posted back-to-back 9-0 wins on Saturday afternoon at Wesleyan University.

The Red Devils opened the day with a 9-0 win over William Smith College. The Red Devils turned in a dominant performance, winning eight flights in straight sets against the Herons and blanked Colby to improve to 4-1 on the season.

First-years Courtney Trail (Palmerston North, N.Z./Palmerston North Girls School) and Lindsay Kuracina (Thorn Hill, Ontario, Canada/Lake Forest) won in straight sets to capture the top two flights, going (11-4, 11-4, 11-4) and (11-3, 11-1, 11-2), respectively, and added straight set wins against Colby. 

Domenica Romo (Ambato, Ecuador/Colegio Atenas) had a strong finish in the third flight (11-3, 6-11, 11-7, 11-0). She won her second match of the day, going (11-5, 10-12, 13-11, 11-3) against Colby 

Eloise Nimoityn (Bryn Mawr, Pa./Episcopal Academy) earned the point in the number four spot with an (11-2, 11-0, 11-5) decision and Carley Barton (Harare, Zimbabwe, Chisipite) won in straight sets (11-9, 11-2, 11-0). They both added straight set wins in the Colby match as well. 

Nicole DeLuca (Newtown Square, Pa./Baldwin) surrendered just six points in a straight set win against William Smith. DeLuca went 2-0 on the day, taking an (11-8, 11-2, 11-5) decision in the Colby match. Abbie Wingerd (Berwyn, Pa./Conestoga) had a line of (11-7, 11-0, 11-5) to win the ninth. 

Aya Sobhy (Stroudsburg, Pa./Blair Academy) and Alanis Perez (New Haven, Conn./Canterbury School) clinched the match with straight set victories in the fifth and eighth flights. 

The Red Devils are right back in action tomorrow, facing Wesleyan University at 9:00 am.
