(Carlisle, Pa.) – The #19-ranked Dickinson women's squash team survived a thrilling match up with #22-Franklin & Marshall, turning back the Diplomats, 5-4, at the Kline Center on Saturday.

Domenica Romo (Ambato, Ecuador/Colegio Atenas) and Eloise Nimoityn (Bryn Mawr, Pa./Episcopal Academy) had strong outings to win the second and third flights in straight sets.

Stuart Lemay (Harwich Port, Mass./Westover School, Conn.) and Carley Barton (Harare Zimbabwe/Chisipite) played well in a pair of five-set thrillers in the fourth and fifth, but both came up short, 3-2.

Jaime Leigh Edghill (Diego, Martin, Trinidad & Tobago/Holy Name) overcame a tough start to win the seven spot (2-11, 11-8, 5-11, 11-9, 11-7). Abbie Wingerd (Berwyn, Pa./Conestoga) finished strong to capture the eighth flight and Alanis Perez (New Haven, Conn./Canterbury School) rallied from a 2-1 deficit to win in the nine spot.
