(New Haven, Conn.) – The #23-ranked Dickinson women's squash team won the consolation bracket of the College Squash Association Walker Cup (C Division), defeating #21-Ranked Bowdoin College 7-2 on Sunday morning.

The Red Devils captured the top two flights as sophomore Courtney Trail (Palmerston North, N.Z./Palmerston North Girls School) claimed the win at number one (11-6, 11-6, 11-7).

Classmate Lindsay Kuracina (Thornhill, Ontario, Canada/Lake Forest) had a strong showing in the second as well, win in straight sets (11-3, 11-7, 11-4).

First-year Jocelyn Feliciano (New Haven, Conn./Ethel Walker School) traded sets in the fifth, outlasting Melissa Horan 3-2 (11-5, 9-11, 11-5, 7-11, 11-5). Classmate Doxey Loupassi (Richmond, Va./St. Catherine's) battled to 3-0 victory with a (11-9, 14-12, 11-8) decision at number six.

Jaime Leigh Edghill (Diego Martin, Trinidad & Tobago/Holy Name) and Catie Nolan (Richmond, Va./St. Catherine's) added straight set wins and Rachel O'Brien (West Roxbury, Mass./Dana Hall School) rallied from a 1-0 setback with a strong finish to earn the point in the eighth flight (9-11, 13-11, 11-7, 11-2).

The Red Devils finish 9-12 overall and will next compete at the CSA Individual Championships on March 6-8 in Philadelphia.
