(Winter Haven, Fla.) – The Dickinson baseball team dropped a pair of games to close out spring break on Friday. Penn State Abington came away with a 3-1 win while Massachusetts-Dartmouth claimed a 5-1 decision.

The Red Devils scored in the top of the first inning against Abington. Tom Gannaway (Westfield, N.J./St. Peter's Prep) led off the game with a double and came in to score on a single from Pat Harrington (Long Valley, N.J./Delbarton).

The Lions tied the game with a lone run in the third and pulled in front with two in the sixth.

Gannaway went 2-for-4 with a run scored while Joe Pepe (Bronxville, N.Y./Bronxville) went 1-for-2 with a walk.

Teddy Reddington (Reston, Va./Flint School) went the distance on the mound, recording six strikeouts and surrendering just one walk.

The Red Devils move to 7-9 overall. The season has now been suspended indefinitely
