BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The Dickinson men's soccer team took to the pitch for the first time in two years on Saturday afternoon at Moravian University, unfortunately, for the Red Devils Redd Sturza scored at the 1:18 mark of the second overtime period to earn a 1-0 win on Saturday afternoon.

Dickinson was on the front foot early as they earned a corner 27-seconds in, which led to a shot from Isaac Bradbury that went wide. John Baney was called into action quickly as he turned aside Sturza on two separate occasions. The Red Devils had the next four shots with Chaz Smith and Connor Utterdijk each missing the mark, but Cole Jennings and Bradbury were denied by keeper Michael Bone. There would be no more chances for either side over the next 18 minutes.

Geoffrey Ogenrwot recorded the opening shot of the second period 1:50 in but missed to the left. With 30 minutes remaining Baney picked up another save by stopping Hunter Shay.  Moravian had a chance to earn the victory with 29-seconds remaining as Carson Snyder went looking for the net, however, Baney was there once again to send the match to extra time. 

The Greyhounds had the only three shots across both extra sessions with Baney saving a Sturza chance in the first overtime before he beat Baney 1:18 into period two off a setup from Snyder.

Dickinson returns to the pitch on Saturday when they take on St. Mary's (Md.) in day one of the Seahawk Classic in St. Mary's City, Maryland at 2 p.m.
