LOCK HAVEN, Pa. - The Dickinson women's cross country team had a solid showing on Saturday morning finishing fourth at the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional hosted by Susquehanna University at West Branch Cross Country Course on the campus of Lock Haven University.
A pair of sophomores paced the Red and White in the 207-runner field as
Myra Naqvi seized 18th with a time of 22:46.9, while classmate
Maddie Garber crossed the line in 23:00.9 for 30th. Three spots behind her was junior
Sammy Jo Barnes who clocked in at 23:07.6. The third sophomore of the group was
Amiyah Priebe who finished in 41st with a mark of 23:19.5.
Elizabeth Cassell the lone senior on the squad finished within the Top-60 thanks to a time of 23:47.6 (53rd). A pair of first-years rounded out the competing Devils as
Hadley Shoaf and
Abigail Touhey finished in 24:16.6 and 25:10.3 respectively.
Fellow Centennial Conference member Johns Hopkins won the team title with just 40 points, thanks in large part to individual winner Alex Ross and her time of 21:42.8. The other teams rounding out the Top-5 were Carnegie Mellon (112), Scranton (155), Dickinson (170), and Elizabethtown (185) with conference rival Gettysburg grabbing sixth with 233 points.

The Red and White will now have to wait and see if they get any kind of at-large team selection or individual chosen for next weekend's NCAA Championship in Lansing, Michigan.
