CARLISLE, Pa. - The Dickinson men's golf team did not let the inclement weather deter them from putting up a solid showing on Saturday afternoon at the Dickinson College Fall Invitational at Carlisle Barracks Golf Club.
"A" Team
Brandon Wilson paced the squad with an even par 72 on the 6670-yard course. Three shots behind him came
Peter Lown, while the duo of
Ryan Wheeler and
Carl Williams each fired a 76.
Jack Poitras also competed posting a five-over 77.
"B" Team
Luke Vance was low man on the team thanks to a two-over 74, followed by
Will Carkhuff at 75. Joining them inside the 70s was
Bo Concannon who finished with a 76.
Erik Schneider ended the day with an 80, while
Jackson Guy,
Colin Vineberg and
Rocco Mastrangelo shot 84, 85 and 86 respectively.
Sam Sieminski rounded the out the competing Devils with a 92.
Results
Aaron Sorkin of Division I Mount St. Mary's (Md.) took home the individual title with a four-under 68 as he tied with Carl Ernst from Millersville University, but won due to a match of cards through the final six holes. Division II Millersville University claimed the team prize with a 288, followed in the Top-10 by Franklin & Marshall "B" (296), Franklin & Marshall and Mount St. Mary's (297), Dickinson (299), Hood (306), PSU-Harrisburg (310), Catholic (312), Catholic "B" and Dickinson "B" (314).
