CARLISLE, Pa. - The Dickinson women's squash team concluded the 2023 portion of the campaign with a perfect match on Friday night by not allowing a single game to the visiting Denison University Big Red as they posted a 7-0 win at Kline Squash Center.
Inside the Match
The Devils began the match with a dominant performance from
Ella Goldman (7th) as she blanked Golda Mehl 3-0 by allowing her opposition to score just a total of five points, including pitching a shutout in the second. In the third slot,
Katie Herring took care of Kate Manderlink in three straight games, while
Anne Leakey repeated the outcome at number winning the first two 11-6 before posting an 11-0 in the third.
Victoria Savelius became the fourth member of the Red and White to complete a shutout by knocking off Hannah Best at the sixth flight.
Whitney Finney then clinch the team win for the Devils at the number four spot with another 3-0 win against Virginia Lawrence.
Amna Fayyaz and
Thea Hegde playing at one and five respectively rounded out the perfect match for the Red and White with a pair of 3-0 victories.
