BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Post winter break, the Dickinson College men's track and field team traveled to the Moravian University Indoor Meet hosted at Lehigh University, ready and excited to get back on the track in the new year.
Sprints
Only two Red Devil sprinters took on the 60m run. William O'Connor claimed 31st with 7.59 seconds and Matthew Greenley with 7.73 seconds, good for 36th. Liam Coulter decided to tackle the 60m hurdles, finishing in 17th with a solid 10 seconds flat. Coulter, along with Sean Harris, ran the 400m race. Coulter found 32nd (1:00.59) and Harris made his way to 29th with a time under one minute: 59.17 seconds.
Additionally, O'Connor and Greenley ran well in the 200m placing 24th (24.57) and 32nd (25.76) respectively.
Distance
Four Dickinson athletes found themselves in the 5000m run: Alexander Kane claimed third place with a time of 15:15.52; Matthew Dietrick came in 14th (15:49.20); Mason Macek found his way to 19th (16:07.56); William Kane finished off the quartet in 25th (16:40.86). In the 3000m, A. Kane with Brock Overlander, M. Dietrick, and Nathan Caldwell ran very good races. Overlander achieved second place with 8:49.42 minutes with A. Kane behind him in third (8:53.22). Dietrick and Caldwell found eighth (9:04.69) and ninth (9.07.11).
Another four Devils ran the 800m race with Trevor Richwine finishing first with a time under two minutes: 1:58.32. Matthew Gareau came in ninth with 2:03.71, Evan Feldman in 17th (2:09.62), and Chris Lozano in 23rd (2:17.00).
In the mile, Nolan Meincke was the second-place finisher with a time of 4:26.40. Following behind him are the following Red Devils: Colin Schweitzer (6th-4:34.96); Ben Moseman (7th-4:35.98); Max Collins (23rd-5:03.90).
Relays
In the Distance Melody Relay the Red and White raced two teams; one consisting of Moseman, Feldman, Richwine and Overlander, and the other of Collins, Schweitzer, Meincke, and Lozano. The first team came in first with a time of 10:55.03 and the second made its way into fifth (12:07.98).
In the 4x400 relay, Gareau, Caldwell, Harris, and Coulter came in ninth with a time of 3:50.80 minutes.
Field Events
In the weight throw, Ethan Hart threw 13.90m, which was good for eighth place. In 21st place is Matthew Harvey, who threw 12.23m. Hart, Harvey, and Lamar Ludy then moved to the shot put circle, ready to make each throw count. Hart championed a second-place finish (16.83m); Ludy found himself in 14th (12.90m); Harvey one place behind at 15th (12.51m).

The Red and White will make their way to Lancaster, Pennsylvania on Saturday when Franklin and Marshall College holds the Mini Dip Invitational at 10:00am!
