BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The Dickinson Men's Track and Field team was set to compete in the Moravian University Blue & Grey Invite on Saturday, January 17 in Bethlehem. Unfortunately for the Red and White, road closures and travel restrictions limited the team bus from arriving to the meet, although some were still able to make it.
Sprints
The Red Devils started the morning in the 60mH Prelims, where
Barrett Chalmers took sixth with a qualifying time of 9.88. First-year
Aidan Coyne also qualified, with his eighth place, 11.32 finish. In the finals, Coyne earned a great fifth place finish in 9.60. Chalmers rounded out finals with a 9.70, eighth place finish.
Both Chalmers and Coyne competed in the 200m as well, taking 19th and 21st respectively. Chalmers tallied a 25.61 finish, with the first-year following closely with a 25.97 finish.

First-Year
Dan Echeverri took 13th overall in shot put with a 11.47m. Sophomore
Oliver Stroka was also able to compete, putting down a 9.92m for 24th place.
Stroka captured third place in the weight throw, with a great 15.28m toss. Echeverri also competed, with a 9.61m throw good for 21st place.

The Red Devils are back in action next Saturday, January 24 at the Franklin & Marshall Coach I Open. Events in the Schnader Field House are set to begin at 10 a.m.
