READING, Pa. – After returning late from Gotham last night, a select group from the Dickinson men's indoor track and field team were in action on Saturday afternoon at the 2024 Plex Shootout hosted by Alvernia University.
Sprints
In the 60m hurdles,
Liam Coulter hit the line in 9.93 to grab 18th.
A pair of Dickinson athletes took to the track for the 400m with
Sean Harris rounding out the Top-20 with a 58.31, followed three spots back by Coulter at 1:00.60.
Distance
The mile run saw
Max Collins finish within the Top-20 in 19th thanks to a 4:55.21, while
Chris Lozano clocked in at 5:05.90 for 23rd. The same two then did battle for the title in the 800m with Lozano taking 37th (2:13.92), followed two places back by Collins at 2:14.30.
Mason Macek had a strong showing during the 3000m clocking in at 9:02.34 for ninth.
William Kane completed the Top-30 for the event thanks to a mark of 9:39.92.
Relay
The Red and White set forth one team for the 4x400m and took tenth with a time of 3:56.18.
Field
At the jump pit,
Jacob Choudhri claimed 20th for the long jump with a leap of 5.50m. He also competed in the triple jump finishing in tenth (11.45m).
Next on the Track
Dickinson will make their second trip of the season to Lancaster on Friday to participate in the Blue & White Invitational hosted by Franklin and Marshall College inside the Alumni Sports & Fitness Center beginning at 2pm.
