CARLISLE, Pa. – The Dickinson women's squash team made the final home match of the college careers for
Amna Fayyaz,
Whitney Finney,
Ella Goldman and
Emerson Rains count in a big way as the Red and White completely blanked the visiting Haverford College Fords by a score of 9-0 inside the Kline Squash Center on Saturday afternoon.
Inside the Match
First-year
Katie Herring playing at the number three spot made short work of Emi Krishnamurthy allowing her to win just three points for the duration of the match. Classmate
Thea Hegde also needed just a limited amount of time to take care of Maya Johnson-Fraidin for the second shutout of the day. Down at the eighth flight
Ella Goldman provided the third triumph for the Red and White as she dropped Lily Matthews in three. The Devils then moved within one point of locking up the match when
Amna Fayyaz at number one brought down Ariana Solecki for shutout number four. Then, at the sixth flight,
Victoria Savelius surrendered just five points to Matilda Chartener in another 3-0 win for DC.
Emerson Rains rounded out the Dickinson lineup today playing at number nine and matched Herring for the fewest points allowed to that point giving up three to Sarah Kotapka. However, they would both be outdone by
Anne Leakey who gave up one point versus Catherine Fortin, before posting two flawless games.
Whitney Finney rounded out the perfect match for Dickinson by locking down the ninth shutout of the match knocking off Zoe Liu 3-0.
