Unfortunately, for the Red and White they were never able to get their offense on track as the Falcons claimed a 5-0 non-conference win. Dickinson had the first chance just over a minute in when Sophia Pereira played a corner into Alexandra Hockwitt, but her shot never made it to Joy Lippert's cage. Messiah record the remaining four shots of the frame with Kelsey Heitzel finding Mallory Kline for the first goal at the 4:48 mark. The home side attempted to make it 2-0 early in the second, however Taylor Morrow was able to deny a penalty stroke attempt from Chelsea Carpenter. Nicole Uebele notched the only shot for the Red and White two minutes later, but Lippert was able to knock it away. Morrow was busy the rest of the period making four more saves to keep it at 1-0 going to the halftime break. Messiah tallied five shots within the first five minutes of the frame tasking Morrow with making one stop. Uebele fired her second shot of the contest with 5:47 gone, but it trickled wide of the net. That set the stage for the Falcons to extend the margin to 3-0 before the end of the quarter as Aubrey Clark and Ellie Lefever hit the back of the cage. After Clark pushed it to 4-0 at the 3:10 mark, Pereira tried to once again setup Hockwitt on a corner, but the offering drifted wide. Following an attempt from Maggie Carson a few minutes later that went off the mark. The Falcons blasted eight more shots towards Morrow scoring once while she recorded six more saves.
