Devils Spear Spartans in Five Set Thriller

CARLISLE, Pa. - For the second consecutive match the Dickinson volleyball team had to go the distance to pick up a non-conference victory as they needed the full five sets to topple the visiting York College of Pennsylvania Spartans 3-2 inside the Kline Center on Wednesday night.

  • Alex Helm, Georgianna Kahley, Jillian Kloc and Jennifer Taylor came storming back for the Spartans as they jumped ahead 11-6.
  • Alexa Barowski, Avery Butcher, Amelia Kim and Mallie Thomas helped DC to close the gap as much as they could as the score read 21-19 YCP.
