Unfortunately, for the Red and White the visitors would have the better of the scoreline on the day posting a conference 4-2 win at Miller Memorial Field. The visitors were on the front-foot over the opening ten minutes as they earned two corner kicks and recorded two shots forcing one save out of Aidan George. Then in the 11th-minute, the Mules earned their third corner of the match and as the ball was swung in George came off the line to punch it clear. Unfortunately, his attempt spun backwards into the net for the 1-0 MC lead. Dickinson's first shot of the match came in the 15th-minute as Saul Iwowo ripped one high, before Sebastian Tis went back down the other way and tasked George with making a save. Muhlenberg kept on the attack recording seven more shots in the frame leading to two more stops for George, while Mules keeper Aidan Niggeman had to turn away Mack Moore in the 38th to preserve the 1-0 advantage at the break. Dickinson attempted to find an equalizer through Ethan Jarden just under five minutes into the period, but his offering was blocked down by the defense. Two minutes later the visitors made it 2-0 as Kevin Adams stuck home a rebound off an offering from Sam Roberts. The match would take a tough turn for the Devils with 53:01 gone when Timi Omoniwa was issued a red card for a rough challenge in the midfield. Muhlenberg then took full advantage of the extra man scoring twice in an 18-second span pushing the gap to 4-0. The Red and White would then dig their heels in with Tyson Burling and Nicholas Dwamena forcing stops out of Niggeman. However, with ten minutes left DC found their first of the match when Westin Fryberger launched a long throw into the box which was eventually pushed home by Alex Spiegel. Then, two minutes later it became 4-2 when Iwowo finished off a pass from Dwamena which set the final score. Goals - Iwowo and Spiegel (1) Shots - Burling and Jarden (2) Saves - George (3) Goals - Four players tied (1) Shots - Schlotterbeck and Tis (4) Saves - Niggeman (3) Dickinson (8-1-1) will attempt to get back on track Wednesday night at 7pm when they welcome Gettysburg College to Miller Memorial Field.
