CARLISLE, Pa. – The Dickinson women's squash team returned to action on Friday, falling to the 16th-ranked Panthers of Middlebury College by a score of 7-2. The Red Devils fielded only 8 players and had to default in the ninth flight.

The Red Devils top two continue their great run of form, in particular in the top flight. Sophomore Anne Leakey has now moved to 10-1 on the season, with a clinical three game victory over Lindsey Burnham in 21 minutes. The other win for the Red Devils came in the hands of Katie Herring in the second flight. She was able to hold off a late charge from Abby Holding to win in three games. Thea Hegde produced another impressive performance in the sixth flight, playing a player who is ranked much higher than her, was able to score a game, but going down in four games. Anna O'Connor and Victoria Savelius both came close to winning a game in the fourth and fifth flights, but both lost in three games. Gabi El-Masry, Cate Moll and Charlotte Derdeyn all lost in three games for Dickinson.
