First Quarter
- The Red and White were on the attack early earning two penalty corners within the first minute ultimately ending up with Pereira setting up Rosenstock for her first of the day.
- Dickinson would try to add onto their lead, but Lora Scarangello turned away both Maggie Carson and Nicole Uebele.
- As the period worn on McDaniel started to find their footing recording three corners and eventually solving Taylor Morrow with no time left on the clock thanks to Jayda Washburn.
Second Quarter
- The frame belonged to the Devils as they notched four corners leading to shots for Megan McClure, Hackett and Liggio forcing one stop out of Scarangello.
- However, the Red and White did eventually get the lead back at the 27:05 mark when Hackett was able to force the ball past the keeper making it 2-1 through 30 minutes.
Third Quarter
- Inside the first five minutes the hosts had five corners, but were only able to get one shot off which came from Liggio who was stopped by Scarangello.
- Dickinson used the ensuing three minutes to collect three goals courtesy of Rosenstock, Pereira (Uebele assist) and Liggio (Alexandra Hockwitt assist) to turn a 2-1 edge into a 5-1 advantage.
- The trio of Liggio, Rosenstock and Uebele all tried to extend the DC margin, but Scarangello was up to the task on all three chances to end the frame.
Fourth Quarter
- McDaniel flipped things around during the final 15 minutes earning seven corners and posting three shots all of which were denied by Morrow to keep the gap at 5-1 with five minutes left.
