NEWVILLE, Pa. — Dickinson women's cross country closed out the 2025 season on Saturday by finishing ninth at the NCAA DIII Mid-Atlantic Region Cross Country Championships at Big Spring High School. Sophmore Liza Barbash closed out her spectacular season with a 19th place finish, just missing out on the Championship.

Liza Barbash led the Red Devils in Regionals, finishing 19th with a time of 22:23.60. She narrowly missed qualifying for the National Championship by a fraction of a second, adding a bittersweet note to her strong performance. She was followed by junior Meghan Higgins-Haas, who tallied an impressive 29th place showing with a time of 22:44.51.

Overall, conference opponent Johns Hopkins placed first with three top ten finishes. Carnegie Mellon took second overall, with senior Chloe Bonson taking first place individually. The race featured over 200 athletes across 28 different schools.
