CARLISLE, Pa. – The Dickinson Women's Squash team improved their overall season record to 12-10 after sweeping the Franklin and Marshall College Diplomats, 9-0, before breezing past the Fords of Haverford College, 7-2. The Red and White celebrated senior day on Saturday as the duo of Cate Moll and Anna O'Connor will graduate after this season.

Inside the Matches
Game one against the Diplomats was a clean sweep for the Red Devils. Sophomores Anne Leakey and Katie Herring each handled their opponents in the top two flights, including a 11-0 bagel from Herring in the first game. First-year Gabi El-Masry went the distance and came through in the fifth game 11-9 to earn the point for the Red Devils in the third flight. After a close battle in the first game, Victoria Savelius claimed the fifth flight in three games. Sophomore Thea Hegde and first-year Charlotte Derdeyn won the sixth and eighth flights easily in three games. Seniors Anna O'Connor and Cate Moll won their matches without any mistakes, winning 3-0. Junior Lila Brown rounded it out for the Red and White with her first college squash victory, winning the ninth flight in four games.

In game two, the Red Devils dropped the bottom two flights but then swept their way up from there. The sophomore pair of Leakey and Herring once again breezed by their opponents in the top two flights in three games each. El-Masry overcame a second game hiccup, with a strong four game victory in the third flight. O'Connor celebrated her day with two victories on the day, claiming the fourth flight for Dickinson. Savelius and Hegde both won the fifth and sixth flights in three games, including an 11-0 bagel in the second game for Hegde. Moll followed in O'Connor's senior day footsteps, claiming both matches on the day with a three-game win in the seventh flight.
