MIDDLETOWN, Conn. - For the second straight day the Dickinson women's squash team found success at the top of the ladder, but were unable to secure the Top-20 win as the 19th-ranked Wesleyan University downed the 20th-ranked Devils by a margin of 7-2 inside the Rosenbaum Squash Center.
Inside the Match
Anabel Romero continued her fantastic start to her collegiate career by allowing Mira Bakshi to win just eleven points in a 3-0 victory at the number one slot. Her efforts were matched by
Katie Herring in the two spot as she conceded just ten points against Avika Pande in a three-game match.
Gabi El-Masry playing at five got off to a great start versus Katherine Risden posting an 11-8 win in game one. However, Risden responded with three consecutive wins to take the match.
Thea Hegde in the four role gave Penelope Furnas all she could handle, but ultimately was tripped up in three games.Â
