LANCASTER, Pa. - For the second straight week the Dickinson women's soccer team has been recognized with a Centennial Conference Player of the Week selection as sophomore goalkeeper
Pico Gray was tabbed the Defensive Player of the Week the league office announced on Tuesday morning.
The native of Brooklyn, New York, continued her scoreless run during the month of October by pitching a pair of conference shutouts against No. 14 Swarthmore and Bryn Mawr. On Wednesday in Carlisle she recorded five stops in each half as the Red Devils and Garnet played to a 0-0 draw. On Saturday, she added two more stops en route to Dickinson's 2-0 road victory over Bryn Mawr. The sophomore now has her clean sheet streak at nearly 530 minutes as she has not allowed a goal since the ninth minute of the Red Devils' 4-2 road win at Washington College on September 26.
Gray and the rest of the Red Devils will look to keep that streak going this week as they host Penn College of Technology tonight at 7pm, before heading to McDaniel College on Saturday afternoon.
