LANCASTER, Pa. - Coming off a strong two days at the Dickinson Spring Invitational, sophomore Red Devil men's golfer William Griffith has been tabbed the Centennial Conference Men's Golfer of the Week for the week of March 16th thru March 23rd the league office announced. 

The native of Silver Spring, Maryland, opened up the spring campaign by winning the Dickinson Spring Invitational on Monday with a combined total of 141 over the two-day event. He began the tournament by carding a three-under 69 at the 6,670-yard Carlisle Barracks Golf Course on Sunday to sit in a tie for third. Then on Monday, as the weather shifted back to cold and windy and the event changed location to the Carlisle Country Club, he posted the lowest round of the day at one-over 72 to finish at 141. Griffith bested the 86-player field by two strokes, helping the Red Devils to the team title by seven strokes with a combined total of 581.

Griffith and the rest of his teammates return to action on Sunday at the Swarthmore Invitational in Malvern, Pennsylvania (White Manor Country Club).
