CARLISLE, Pa. - Coming off their first Centennial Conference title since 2011 and their second straight trip to the Elite Eight of the NCAA Tournament, head coach Jorge Chapoy and his sixth-ranked Dickinson men's soccer program return to the home pitch tomorrow at 4pm for the 2026 lid-lifter against Marymount University.

Schedule Overview

• After going unbeaten in a dozen matches at Miller Memorial Field in 2026, the Red and White will play nine times in Carlisle while taking to the road the same amount.
• If the Red and White want to make their way back to the national tournament for a third consecutive season they will have to battle through a schedule that features three opponents ranked inside the preseason Top-25 poll (#12 Rowan, #16 Messiah and #24 Christopher Newport).
• DC begins the campaign with back-to-back home games against Marymount (9/1 @ 4pm) and Rowan (9/4 @ 7pm). 
• Then after three straight away from Carlisle the side return to Miller Memorial Field for three in a row versus Shenandoah (9/16 @ 7pm), Ursinus (9/19 @ 4pm) and Juniata (9/23 @ 7pm). Following a trip to Washington (Md.) on September 26th, the Red and White welcome local rival Gettysburg to town on Wednesday, September 30th (6pm). 
• Dickinson ends the season with three of their final four at home with conference matchups against Swarthmore (10/17 @ 6pm), Johns Hopkins (10/21 @ 6pm) and Muhlenberg on Halloween afternoon (3pm). The Devils will also honor their three seniors that day as well.

Holding Down the Backline

• The unit of Amos Liles, Patrick McCune, Kiey and Sallade are back to anchor the defense for the Red and White after the graduation of key players Johnny Diederich, Luke Finkielstein, Austin Holloway and Alex Spiegel among others.
• First-Years Finn Commins and Jason Dixon along with junior transfer Nicolas Fonseca will look to immediately make a mark within the team.  

Keepers of the Cage

• Aidan George returns after a brilliant 2024 going 16-4-3 with a .691 save percentage totaling 56 stops on the season. He also set the school record for clean sheets with nine.
• Gavin Marr made an appearance in five matches, making his first college start at Stevenson on September 25th picking up four saves en route to earning his first win.
• Josh Bouchard appeared in two matches between the pipes as well.

Welcome to the Devils Den

• Coach Chapoy has added eleven newcomers to an already talented squad that will look to make an immediate impact: Colin Harkleroad, Jason Dixon, Josh Dozier, Mika Rafidimahavonjy, Henry Schultz, Robert Holcombe, Theo Sutton, Finn Commins, Connor Harrington, Nikolas Tarapoulouzis and Maxim Temple.

• Thoughts on Schedule
  • The schedule for this season is loaded with very high level opponents. We feel we can win every game, but at the same time we know we could lose every match as well. Each side we play will bring their own style and grit to the match and we will have to match that intensity minute by minute if we want to achieve our ultimate goal. 
• What have you seen in the preseason that has you excited?
  • I have seen a team that is unified and has excellent camaraderie both on and off the pitch already. We have amazing leaders in captains Rowan Jensen, Patrick McCune and Jeremy Sallade who have not only reunited with our returners, but have also welcomed our newcomers in with open arms and have quickly integrated them into our team culture. All players have come in exceptionally fit and I believe that we will be able to show off our strong balance and depth throughout the season.
• How are your first-years adapting to the college game?
  • They have come in fit, willing to learn, receptive to coaching and have been welcomed into the side by all returning players. Off the pitch, they are great kids that are humble and fit right into the culture that we have here at Dickinson as a whole. 
• What should fans expect when they come out to watch your side play?
  • A fun attacking minded team that will play with "controlled aggression" and compete to the best of their ability and will do everything they can to protect their home. Our goal is to always be the team that cares the most and plays for each other and everyone that supports us at all times.
