College women's volleyball team suffered a 3-0 loss to Chapman
University on Saturday. Chapman posted scores of 25-18, 25-16,
25-22 to secure the win. |
Lyndsay Cargile led the attack with 12 kills while Kat Kowalski
tallied 33 assists.
Avery Zuvic (Cold Spring,
N.Y./Haldane) led the Devils with nine kills and 14
digs. Senior Ely Gosheva (Sofia, Bulgaria/American U.
of Sofia) served three aces and added 14 digs as
well.
Amanda Hayes (Midlothian,
Va./Midlothian) picked up 17 digs
and Chelsea Winkert (Cazenovia,
N.Y./Cazenovia) handed out 21 assists.
The Red Devils slip to 3-9 overall. They open Centennial
Conference play next Saturday, hosting Ursinus at 11:00 am.
