(Washington, D.C.) – The #22-ranked Dickinson women's squash team suffered an 8-0 setback to #14-ranked George Washington University while the #25-ranked Red Devil men fell to the #12 Colonials 9-0 on Saturday afternoon.  

Doxey Loupassi (Richmond, Va./St. Catherine's) dropped a hard-fought match in the third (11-8, 11-6, 11-6) while Jaime Leigh Edghill (Diego Martin, Trinidad & Tobago/Holy Name) put up a strong challenge in the fourth flight in an (11-4, 14-12, 11-7) setback.

Rachel O'Brien (West Roxbury, Mass./Dana Hall School) went (11-8, 11-2, 11-3) and Eloise Nimoityn (Bryn Mawr, Pa./Episcopal Academy) and Aya Sobhy (Stroudsburg, Pa./Blair Academy) gave strong performances in the top two flights.

The Red Devils slip to 4-8 on the season.

Abdelrahman Elsergany (Cairo, Egypt/Kent School, Conn.) took the first set 11-4 and rallied from a 2-1 deficit to tie the match with an 11-5 fourth set. He went point-for-point with Salim Khan in the fifth before Khan slipped away 11-8.

Kobe Fleming (Whitby, New Zealand) battled in the four-spot, falling (11-9, 11-8, 11-1) and Graham Henderson (Greenwich, Conn./The King School) had a solid performance in an (11-8, 8-11, 11-5, 11-5) setback in the fifth.

Adil Tibrawalla (Kolkata, India/La Martiniere School) went (11-7, 11-5, 11-4) at number nine and Tanay Murdia (New Fatehpura Udaipur, India / Delhi Public School) had a strong start and battled in the third (11-8, 12-10, 11-2).

The Red Devil men move to 4-10 overall. The men will host Chatham University on Sunday at 1:00 pm and both teams will head to the Mid-Atlantic States Championships next weekend.
