Defense is Strong
After a stellar defensive performance against Juniata the Red and White now rank tied for third in points allowed per game in the conference at 20.6, while their 293.0 yards given up per contest has them third. The defense has also produced a bit of a "no fly zone" ranking second in the Centennial in passing yards allowed surrendering just 172.9. The rush defense has been tough to break down as well as they rank fifth at 120.1 yards per game. On Saturday, the Devils were led by James Basilii who recorded 11 tackles (1.0 for loss) and notched one interception. The trio of Bram Leys, Tanner Long, and John Prochniak each had six tackles and tallied two pass breakups and a pair of quarterback hurries.
