BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The Dickinson men's track and field team returned to action on Saturday for the first time since December 9th at the Moravian University Invitational.
Sprints
Liam Coulter finished in seventh during the 60m hurdles by hitting the line in 9.33.
Charlie Miske (10.15) and
Ben Power (11.61) competed in the prelims, but did not qualify for the final.
Cole Boback was just outside the Top-3 of the 200m grabbing fourth with a 23.47, while
William O'Connor joined him in the Top-10 at tenth after clocking in at 24.11.
Boback then seized a fifth-place result for the 400m by clocking in at 53.17.
Ian Gormley made it inside the Top-25 in 24th thanks to a 55.31, while
Luke Sternick beat the Top-30 landing at 29th (56.39).
Distance
A trio of Devils competed in the 800m with
Trevor Richwine being the top finisher for the Red and White in 12th (2:01.71).
Shane Coll and
Max Collins posted times of 2:12.71 (34th) and 2:15.90 (37th) respectively.
A quartet of Devils were involved in the 3000m as
Nolan Meincke took 15th with a 9:12.16, while Will Tripp (23rd - 9:29.38),
Evan Feldman (26th - 9:36.90) and
Michael Loalbo (28th - 9:37.56) also competed.
Dickinson had a strong showing during the 5000m as three members occupied Top-5 spots led by first-year
Alexander Kane in third at 15:26.70, followed by
Romario Cruz (15:49.35) and
Matthew Dietrick (15:55.41).
James Marks also locked down a Top-10 slot with his time of 16:05.08 being good for ninth.
Teddy Mercer earned a podium place for the mile run grabbing third in 4:23.68.
Benjamin Moseman finished inside the Top-20 at 16th thanks to a 4:39.87, while classmate
Matthew Gareau took 22nd by clocking in at 4:45.59.
Coltin Albitz just missed out on a Top-25 mark landing in 26th with a 4:48.89.
Relays
The unit of Gareau, Kane, Meincke and Moseman finished sixth during the 4,000m distance medley relay with a time of 11:14.14.
Dickinson had two teams compete in the 4x400m with the group of Boback, Mercer, Richwine and Sternick taking up the last podium spot with a 3:37.60. The other group of
Kelby Bishop-Scioli, Albitz, Coll and Gormley grabbed 11th in 3:50.89.
Field
Two Devils finished Top-20 in the weight throw with
Ethan Hart securing 15th thanks to a toss of 12.77m, while
Matthew Harvey dropped in at 19th (12.24m).
Kieran Santos was the highest placing Devil for the long jump taking eighth (6.01m). Miske landed in 17th at 5.54m, followed by
Michael Glass and his 5.52m. Santos then improved on his positioning during the high jump grabbing sixth with a mark of 1.78m.
