Inside the Devils Den
Fireside Review - #17 Muhlenberg 42, DEVILS 21 (Carlisle, Pa. - Biddle Field)
One touchdown toss by Joe Repetti to Timothy Buda, James Nye and Andrew Darno helped the visiting Mules to build up a 21-0 cushion midway into the second period. The Red and White then got on the board when Presley Egbers found Kellen Boyer for an eight-yard strike just before half making it 21-7 (Justin Worobel kick). Coming out of the break the visitors continued to add-on to their advantage with Matthew Manning running it home from four out, before Repetti hit Nye for his second of the day from 21 away extending the lead to 35-7 through three. Two TD receptions by Bobby Markey in the fourth quarter sandwiched a three-yard run for Repetti to set the 42-21 final.

The Offensive General
Quarterback Presley Egbers had a pretty efficient day against the Mules going 21-of-35 for 202 yards, which included three touchdown passes. For the season he has a 117.32 rating thanks to his 1234 yards and 11 TDs completing 102 of 196 passes with six interceptions.

Rushing Attack
Egbers also paced the Devils on the ground with a team-high 54 yards on eight carries for a 6.8 average. The Centennial Conference's leading rusher Diante Ball was kept under control by a stout Muhlenberg defense totaling just 24 yards on his 14 touches. Princeton Douglass also chipped in two yards through his two attempts. With three games remaining Ball has a chance to post his second straight 1000-yard plus season as he currently sits at 707 yards on 138 touches which has him averaging a conference-best 101.0 yards per game.

Pass Catchers
Egbers spread the rock around against the Mules last week hitting seven different targets for the second week in a row. Pacing the group in catches was Ball who went five for 21 yards, while Markey hauled in four for a game-high 79 yards and two scores. The trio of Matt Maiona, Devlin McCool and Douglass each had three receptions for a combined 76 yards. Frederik Fjeldseth and Boyer chipped in for three total and 26 yards.

Defense Helps as Well
The busy Dickinson defense was led by a game-high nine stops (six solo) for Brendan Walker, which included two for loss. James Basilii and Bram Leys added eight tackles each combining for 11 solo, while the pair of Neville Krueger and John Prochniak joined up for 14 hits. Both Lewis Baer and Jeremy Reid recorded six tackles each.

The Battle Plan
Gettysburg enters Saturday's matchup with a mark of 2-5 overall and 1-2 inside the Centennial Conference. In addition to trying to snap a six-game losing skid to the Devils, the Bullets are trying to end a current three-game slide after falling to The College of New Jersey last weekend in Ewing 30-13.

Rocco Abdinoor was the leader of the GC offense against the Lions going 11-for-24 racking up 154 yards and two TDs, while throwing one pick. Konrad Vandborg was also under center for the Bullets completing five of 11 throws for 72 yards and a pair of interceptions. The duo's favorite target was Ryan McAndrew who hauled in a team-high seven passes totaling 140 yards as well as a touchdown. Walle Harwigsson added six catches and 69 yards with a score. The pair of Luke Denison and Michael Zrelak combined for three receptions and 17 yards. Three Bullets recorded double-digits in rushes led by Zrelak and his 16 carries for 60 yards, followed by ten touches each from Abdinoor (70 yards) and Peter Schelling (34 yards). On the day Gettysburg ran 41 times for 157 yards to post a 3.8 yards per carry.

Justin Rhyne was the top stopper for the visitors on Saturday tallying a team and game-high 11 tackles, followed by nine hits and a sack from Chris Singleton Jr. Peter Corcoran added eight stops, while Mike Del Grande and Ryan Weems combined for seven tackles each plus two pass breakups and a quarterback hurry. The pair of Chris Lessel and Matt Mikulka posted 11 hits and caused two turnovers against the Lions.
