Inside the Devils Den
Fireside Review - DEVILS 28, Gettysburg 25 (Gettysburg, Pa. - Musselman Stadium)
Dickinson took an early 7-0 lead as Presley Egbers capped off an opening four-play drive with a 65-yard TD strike to Bobby Markey (Justin Worobel kick). However, the Bullets would answer back with the next 14 on scores by Ryan Furey and Rocco Abdinoor. The Devils responded in a big way going into the break as Egbers found both Diante Ball and Devlin McCool to go ahead 21-14 heading into the break. After a scoreless third period Roy Meyer drilled a 44-yard kick just 15-seconds into the fourth cutting it to 21-17, but on the ensuing DC drive Egbers raced home from seven-yards out to extend the lead out to 28-17 with 10:14 left. Gettysburg would close to within a field goal at the 8:30 when Aidan Feulner hit Ryan McAndrews for a 39-yard score to set the 28-25 final.

Thank You Seniors!

The Offensive General
Red Devil play caller Presley Egbers put forth a solid effort last weekend against the Bullets completing 10 of his 19 throws for 146 yards and three touchdowns with tossing a pick. In his first full season under center for the Red and White Egbers is 112-of-215 racking up 1380 yards and 14 TDs, while throwing just six picks through eight games.

Pass Catchers
Egbers attempted to link up with six different targets against the Bullets as both Matt Maiona and Markey recorded three catches for a combined 111 yards and one touchdown. Ball brought in two passes for six yards, while Princeton Douglass and McCool caught one apiece for 13 and 16 yards respectively.

Rushing Attack
Ball had a huge day versus Gettysburg racking up 29 touches for 197 yards, averaging 6.8 per touch, which helped to add onto his conference lead as he now averages 113.0 yards per game. Egbers also toted the rock a dozen times totaling 74 yards and one score, while Douglass carried once for no gain.

Defense Helps as Well
Jeremy Reid paced the Dickinson defense on the day recording a team-high ten stops (four solo) and one pass breakup. Bram Leys added in eight tackles (five solo), followed by John Prochniak with his seven hits as well as one pass breakup. The trio of Lewis Baer, Justin Rocha and Alex Sulin posted 16 tackles, including 2.5 stops for loss. James Basilii, Neville Krueger and Brendan Walker each chipped in four hits on the day.

The Blue Jay Nest
Johns Hopkins enters Saturday's action with an 8-0 record overall and a 4-0 mark within the Centennial Conference after edging out Muhlenberg 34-28 on the final play of the game last Saturday in Allentown. With the game tied at 28-28 with three seconds left the Jays had a field-goal attempt blocked, but since the ball stayed behind the line of scrimmage it allowed Will Leger to pick up the pigskin and race 14-yards to the house for the win.

Bay Harvey the native of Lenk, Switzerland, led the Hopkins offense last weekend going 23-for-35 racking up 245 yards to go along with a pair of touchdowns and one pick, while being sacked three times by the Mules defense. His favorite target on the afternoon was Cole Crotty who hauled in a game-high ten passes for 123 yards. Leger recorded 81 yards with his seven grabs, including both TD receptions. Andrew Rich made three catches for a dozen yards, while the group of Burke Griffin, Spencer Uggla and Ej Talarico each posted one catch for a combined 30 yards. Harvey not only paced the air attack for the Jays, but also led the rushing attack carrying a team-high 16 times totaling 93 yards and a score. The duo of Geoff Schroeder and Uggla joined together to tally 47 yards and a TD.

Cole Peters was top stopper for JHU against the Mules making a team-high 11 tackles (seven solo) to go along with an interception. Oliver Craddock chipped in seven stops and an interception, followed by six hits from (five solo) from Josh Andersson. The pair of Zach Alligood and Matthew Konkol combined for another ten tackles (two for loss) and one quarterback hurry, while Carson Bourdo and Jack Schondelma chipped in four hits each.
