Men's Track and Field to Compete at CC Championships This Weekend

CARLISLE, Pa. - The Dickinson men's indoor track and field team will go in search of their first Centennial Conference championship since 2010 when the action takes place this weekend at the Schnader Field House on the campus of Franklin and Marshall College in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.

The Red and White will look to build upon their fifth-place result last season in Collegeville when they amassed 66.20 points.

Back in December, when the conference coaches released their preseason rankings the Devils came in third on 44 points, trailing Ursinus (58) and Johns Hopkins (63).

Heading into this weekend Dickinson has the top-qualifer for the shot put in Ethan Hart who was a two-time conference Field Athlete of the Week after posting a mark of 15.81m. He is also Top-10 with the weight throw as his 14.09m sets him in seventh. In his first collegiate campaign Trevor Richwine is the second-best qualifier for the 800m (1:56.26), while Charlie Miske is number two in the heptathlon with 3788 points. Kieran Santos is expected to battle for a podium spot as well qualifying third for the high jump at 1.83m. Teddy Mercer rounds out the Top-5 for the mile run after posting a 4:20.45 earlier this season.

Three other Devils sit inside the Top-10 of their respective events as Cole Boback lands just outside the Top-5 of the 400m with a mark of 51.56 (6th). Miske is tenth within the 60m hurdles thanks to a 9.82. Matthew Harvey completes the Top-10 in a loaded shot put field after putting up a toss of 13.35m.

Dickinson should also be expected to fair well in the multiple relay events as they rank fourth for the 4x200m and the distance medley, as well as fifth in the 4x400m.
