GETTYSBURG, Pa. - The Dickinson men's track and field team returned to action on Saturday to compete in the Mason-Dixon Invitational hosted by Gettysburg College at Musselman Stadium. Unfortunately, inclement weather forced the event to stop prematurely.
Sprints
William O'Connor took part in the 100m dash prelims with his time of 11.88 being good for the fifth qualifying spot for the final that did not happen.
Liam Coulter posted a time of 18.43 for the 110m hurdles which put him in seventh.
Distance
A quartet of Devils were involved during the 1500m with
Nolan Meincke winning the event by hitting the line in 4:04.16, while
Colin Schweitzer joined him in the Top-5 with a 4:11.49 for fifth.
Benjamin Moseman posted a 4:21.05 to land in eighth, followed by
Ethan Katz in 13th at 4:30.90.
Special Events
Coltin Albitz had an excellent showing in the 3000m steeplechase taking second after hitting the line in 10:42.58, followed by
Matthew Gareau with an 11:47.64 (7th).
Field
Matthew Harvey was top Devil during the hammer throw as his 44.16m took second, while
Ethan Hart landed at 42.64m for fifth.
Lamar Ludy posted a 27.33m (15th). The same trio was Top-10 for the shot put led by Hart who won the event at 15.47m and was joined on the podium by Ludy with 12.47m to claim third. Harvey had a toss of 11.55m earn him eighth.
Charlie Miske finish in a three-way tie for seventh within the high jump after clearing 1.62m.
Sa'id Rahim rounded out the Top-10 of the long jump with a mark of 4.75m.
Miske then found himself in seventh during the pole vault getting over the pole set at 3.25m.
