CARLISLE, Pa. - The Dickinson men's tennis team continued their strong start to the campaign on Friday afternoon by shutting out the visiting McDaniel College by a score of 9-0 at the Hays Tennis Courts.
Doubles (DEVILS 3-0)
The third pair of
Drew Allen and
Florian Anderson pitched a clean sheet after downing Justin Edwards and Nick Ferraro by a score of 8-0. At the number one slot,
Romano De Caprio and
DJ Finnell were too much for Quinn Dietsche and Parth Shah (8-1), while the duo of
Eddy Chow and
Sid Ramaswamy posted an 8-2 triumph over Connor Neal and Drew Ryder.
Singles (DEVILS 6-0)
Three members of Red and White secured perfect 6-0. 6-0 scores as Chow (2nd),
Spencer Goodman (4th) and
Aidan MacIntosh (6th) claimed the victories. At the third spot, Allen fell just one game shy of that feat by knocking off Shah by scores of 6-0, 6-1. At numbers one and five both De Caprio and
Owen Longenecker allowed three games to their opponents winning by margins of 6-2, 6-1 and 6-1, 6-2 respectively.Â

Dickinson (2-0) will take the next 14 days off before returning to action on Saturday, September 30th at 10 am when the Devils welcome the Falcons of Messiah University to Carlisle.Â
