HAVERFORD, Pa. - The Dickinson women's soccer team fell behind 2-0 at halftime and fought valiantly over the second 45 minutes, but were not able to come back against the host Haverford College as the Fords claimed a 3-2 conference win on Saturday afternoon at Walton Field.
- Each keeper was tested within the first five minutes as Lily Buyer turned away a header by Lila Brown, while at the other end Sophia Kavulich shutdown Ella Manning.

- Dickinson needed just over a minute into the frame to get themselves back into the match when Dunkel served in a beautiful free kick to Brown who knocked it past Buyer.
- After St. Amand had a chance sail high, the Fords had the next three looks at goal with Garfield ultimately finishing off a dish from Keira Prince in the 64th extending the gap to 3-1.
- Bridget Merkel became the second Devil in the half to send one over the goal during the 66th, which then sent the home side back down the other way where Molly Morris was shutdown by Kavulich to keep DC alive.
- With just under five minutes left the Red and White made things interesting when Merkel rippled the back of the net cutting the deficit down to one.
- Unfortunately for the visitors Dunkel's last-ditch effort with 11 seconds left went over the top of the net.
