CARLISLE, Pa. - The Dickinson football team hoped to send their senior class out in style on Saturday afternoon as they welcomed Ursinus College to Biddle Field for the regular season finale. Unfortunately, for the Red and White they were unable to build on a 6-3 second quarter lead as the Bears left Carlisle with a 24-13 conference win.
- The offenses remained quiet begin the period with punters Jordan Carr and Kieran O'Neill forced to punt for their respective sides on their opening drives.
- Four minutes into the frame UC started a possession on their own 49. Bradford started things off by finding Justin Collier for 11, before six consecutive runs from the trio of Jason Bernard, Tony Holden and Bradford put the rock on the DC6 for fourth down. That was when Carr stepped up to knock home a 23-yard field goal.
- On the ensuing DC drive, Egbers connected with Bobby Markey for receptions of 7 and 16 as well as hitting Frederik Fjeldseth for 19 to push all the way down to UC8. Following a carry by Cedric Benning III that got stuffed for a loss, Egbers hit Kellen Boyer in the endzone for the 6-3 edge (O'Neill kick no good).
- With just under two minutes left the Red and White found themselves in prime position to extend their lead as Rocha nabbed his second pick of the game, but once again DC was forced to punt ending the half.
- Dickinson got the ball to begin the half and used runs from Andrew Reale, Benning III and Campbell to get down to the UC48 facing second-and-ten. However, an incompletion and sack led to an O'Neill punt to the UC16.
- The teams continue to be embroiled in a defensive slugfest as the punts continued for Carr and O'Neill with the clock dropping under six minutes.
- Ursinus would begin deep in their own territory at the seven. Runs for Bradford and Holden along with passes of 22 and 25 to Ryder Zulkowski and Cameron Dennis had the visitors on the DC28. That was when Bradford found Markel Roberts-Jackson for a 28-yard score making it 10-6 (Carr kick).
- The Bears used a solid combination of both run and pass to put together a six-minute plus, 13-play drive ending with Holden plunging in from a yard away to take a 17-6 advantage (Carr kick).
- After the ensuing DC drive did not amount to any points the Bears needed just one-play for Bradford to break free around the left-side and race to the house extending the gap to 24-6 (Carr kick).
- On the ensuing Devils march, Egbers would find Boyer and Markey to move up to the UC37. He then hit Rocco DiRico for 12 and Campbell for 13 down to the UC12. That was when Egbers connected with Markey for a 12-yard TD setting the final of 24-13.

In order for the Red and White to earn that opportunity both Johns Hopkins and Ursinus would have to be selected for the NCAA Tournament.
