Collin McMahon-Shea nabbed his second PING All-Region Team selection as announced by the Golf Coaches Association of America on Sunday night.
McMahon-Shea, the native of Lexington, Massachusetts, claimed the individual title at the Centennial Conference Championship with a record-setting score of 208 (-8), the senior holds a scoring average of 70.7 after 25 rounds of competitive golf which has him positioned the top player in Region III as well as the 24th-ranked player in all of Division III. During the course of the season McMahon-Shea has won three other tournaments (Dickinson Fall Invite, Battle at Bulle Rock and Swarthmore Invite) and and placed among the top three four different times.Â
McMahon-Shea now turns his attention to his second appearance in the NCAA Division III Tournament which begins tomorrow at Mission Resort and Club in Howey-in-the-Hills, Florida.
