LANCASTER, Pa. - After a 1-0-1 week the ninth-ranked Dickinson men's soccer team was recognized by the Centennial Conference office on Tuesday as senior forward,
Saul Iwowo was chosen as the conference's Offensive Player of the Week for the second time this season.
Iwowo, the native of London, United Kingdom, recorded three goals and two assists in a 1-0-1 week for the ninth-ranked Red Devils. In a 6-1 non-conference win against Lebanon Valley, he assisted on the opening goal in the fourth minute and followed that up with what amounted to be the game-winner in the 11th minute. Iwowo added another goal and assist after halftime to help break the game open. Trailing 1-0 midway through the second half against Haverford, Iwowo closed out the week with a 70th-minute equalizer to earn a 1-1 draw with the Fords.
Iwowo and the rest of his teammates are back in action on Saturday night at 7pm when they visit conference foe Swarthmore College.
